This was a gorgeous wedding we photographed at Nocatee Crosswater hall in Ponte Vedra beach, Florida. The best part of my job is seeing two people who love each other commit to spending the rest of their lives together. Now, dont get me wrong, a beautiful dress, and some stunning flowers make this job easier, but in the end, it is the love story that two people start on their wedding day that makes the job
so amazing!
The Bride and Groom ::
Marianne and Tommy were two of those amazing wedding clients- the ones who know in the end, the wedding day is just one day, that its their love for each other that really is what makes the wedding become a marriage.
Tell me about your dress? Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one? My dress shopping was the easiest thing to do! The first store we went to-The White Magnolia in Jacksonville, and maybe the 4th dress I tried on, I knew that was it. I didn’t want a complicated dress, something classic and simple. I’m not that much of a fashionista but I did go out on a limb and buy a BLUSH dress. It looked more blush in the store, and it looked more ivory after I bought it. I didn’t really care at that point either, I was just happy I was one step closer to getting married
What was the best moment{s} of your wedding day? I loved when I was getting ready with all my girls, our first look pictures because that was the most time Tommy and I got to spend with each other the whole day, and also our last dance, that was a really sweet touch to the night.

How did you choose your theme? Flowers? and overall wedding design? I figured since we were getting married in the Fall, I wanted our flowers and colors to be fall colors. We ended up with Burgundy, Blush and gold. It was perfectly simple.
Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Yes, we did a first look. Which I am really thankful we did. Someone had told me that Tommy looked really nervous, but after our first look we both calmed down and were on the same page and we were ready for the ceremony. The first look really helps take the pressure off the ceremony and helps you enjoy the actual event.
