The Senior Client Process:
Get in touch
Reach out via the contact form. We will chat about your session plans, and design a vision for your perfect senior session day, while we cover all the details.
Make a plan
From a detailed style guide, a style questionnaire to get to know you, and our style consult, you will be prepped and ready to go. We also include a nail and makeup guide, and extra tips and tricks, so you are relaxed and prepared for your shoot day!
The shoot Day
We start with hair and makeup so you get to relax and enjoy the start of your day. and be humidity and sun proof! Then we have an extended shoot that includes sun drenched images, and dramatic sunset photos so that you can have a variety of photos that will be instagram worthy... and will love looking at for years to come!
Design time!
My favorite part! We will meet to view your slideshow {warning, mom will probably cry}, select your images, and design your perfect collection! From wall art, to albums, and all the fabulous archive quality products in between, we have you covered with heirloom quality products so you get to enjoy your art, instead of wondering what to do with it, and enjoy it for generations to come!

Fashion Consult
2-3 weeks before your sesison we will go over your curated wardrobe including style closet selections. We will nail down sessoin details for location, time, and HMUA.
Shoot day
it's the day you have been panning for! Time to have an amazing session with the KHP team!
Session Reveal day
The BEST part! I will take you through some of my faves, and show you how they will look in your home! Don't worry, we have tissues & treats!
All the goodies
After your reveal session, your order will be placed, and as soon as its ready, we will deliver it, and help you with the hanging!

It seems like yesterday when she took her first steps. Now she's about to walk across a stage in this final chapter of childhood. It went by in the blink of an eye. You just want time to stop so you can hold on a little while longer. But you know she deserves more than being treated like a number for her senior portraits. He deserves more than these milestone images being thrown on a USB only to be found in the back of the kitchen junk draw years from now.
At KHP, you are working with a seasoned award winning photographer and her team of stylists, and artists to get a one-of-a-kind portrait session that you will cherish for the rest of your life. From your pre-session style consult to your custom products, our photography team works hard to deliver a revolutionary senior portrait experience for you! We design the most sought after senior portrait products, from custom acrylics to hand crafted albums. Clients typically invest in a wide variety of wall portraits for their home, gift prints for family and friends, and fine art keepsakes like albums and images boxes after their senior session.
Due to high demand and our time commitment to each client, there is a minimum portrait investment with each senior session, starting at $450 for Simplicity Sessions and $800 for The Senior Experience. This is not a set portrait package but rather a minimum order required based on the time invested in your senior session.
Sessions book approximately 5 months in advance.
While most of our families book our complete Senior Experience and invest $2500+ on their Custom Senior Portraits that is certainly not a requirement. Our studio is proud to offer options for all budgets and needs when it comes to senior pictures.

From the style guide, to the style consult, we help you plan each outfit, and help you include variety. The luxe session include 6-8 outfits which lets your full personality and style shine... while adding variety to your shoot!. Whew! Now that we have outfits, we add locations! My goal is to pick areas that have a wide variety of styles- a little urban, a little natural and a little water, so you get all kinds of variety in each outfit. Then we color coordinate each outfit to a set location. How do we pick an area? Well, we use a questionnaire and then chat during our style consult. A great way to nail your style? take our style quiz!

We get it, your senior photos are a one time thing, and we want them to be incredible. By offering an extended session, we give you time to get comfortable in front of the camera, learn some posing tips, and show off your authentic self. Extended time also allows you to get more outfits, locations and lighting, which gives you incredible variety in your end images. We shoot through daylight, into sunset, to get different lighting scenarios, and wardrobe choices.
